The Rebecca Pearl Gallery is located in the heart of Thurmont, Maryland. There is a large exhibition space that showcases many of Rebecca's framed orginial paintings and limited edition prints. 3 Art Bins contain an assortment of other pieces presented on foam core under acetate. In addition, there are original works by Rebecca's mother, Elizabeth Prongas; her father, James Pearl; and daughter Sarah Orner; all accomplished artists.
The entire left wall of the gallery is the design center for full service custom framing. Jay Zeigler (Rebecca's husband), an accomplished picture framer, produces work of the highest skill and integrity at very reasonable prices. He insists on "the best materials" including Larson Juhl mouldings and the Bainbridge Archival Seal.
Jay has framed Rebecca's work for over 10 years, and has worked on important restoration and preservation projects including a very exclusive collection of original John La Forge drawings and paintings located at Mount St. Mary's College in Emmitsburg, Maryland. Jay can frame almost anything from needlepoint, embroidery, archeological relics, moccasins, and of course traditional art work on canvas, board, or paper. Local artists and corporations have also taken advantage of our canvas stretching/gallery wrap capabilities.
Visiting our gallery will be a fun and memorable experience where you might also meet our German Shepherd, Ted.
